Vietnam Airlines has a near-monopoly on domestic flights, which connect almost main destinations through out country as well as many international destinations. In addition, Jestar Pacific Vietnam and some other International Airlines firms also arrange domestic and international flights.

Air tickets are sole by nationwide Booking Offices and Travel Agencies. Travelers can withdraw your tickets directly in the booking offices of Vietnam Airlines. Most branches of Vietnam Airlines accept payment by credit cards.

For domestic flights, it had better to book in advance as soon as possible because the planes are often full. It is imperative to bring the passport or the visa to reserve a seat on a domestic flight. You are also required these documents when check-in at the airport for security.
