Itinerary:

Day 1: Phnom Penh – Arrival


  • Arrive in Phnom Penh at any time then transfer to hotel 
  • Phnom Penh Cyclo Tour: take cyclo tour through busy street to soak up the real vibe of the city

Day 2: Phnom Penh – City tour


  • Visit the Royal Palace, resplendent in traditional Khmer architecture
  • See the Silver Pagoda and its magnificent Emerald Buddha
  • Explore Wat Phnom, the oldest of the city, and see the statue of Madam Penh
  • Visit the Museum of Genocidal Crime, which was the S-21 prison – the scene of the worst examples of brutality and torture under the infamous Pol Pot
  • Visit the camp Choeng Ek Killing Field, outside Phnom Penh, the last resting place of many Cambodian people, whose killings were committed by the brutal Khmer Rouge regime
  • Take a stroll through the Central Market, famous for its Art Deco architecture

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap


  • Depart for a flight to Siem Reap
  • Start the visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom
  • Visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. Witness the Sunset from Phnom Bakheng, one of two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the western Baray and Angkor Wat

Day 4: Angkor


  • Visit temple of Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls)
  • Transfer to the archaeological site and continue to the temple tour. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Then visit Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples.

Day 5: Siem Reap Depart


  • Visit the floating village of the Chong Khneas, located 10 m south of Siem Reap
  • Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia
  • Visit “Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles” of Siem Reap and time at leisure at the local market (if time permits)
  • Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to the next destination
