Day 1: Bangkok – Arrival


  • Met and welcomed by your guide upon arrival

Day 2: Bangkok – City – Night train to Chiang Mai


  • Join the traditional long tail boat tour of Bangkok’s klongs and Wat Po
  • Visit Grand Palace
  • Take night train to Chiang Mai

Day 3: Chiang Mai


  • Arrive early morning, take little time to relax
  • Visit Wat Phra Singh with its famous Buddha image

Day 4: Chiang Mai – Chiang Khong

Day 7: Luang Prabang – Khuang Sy waterfall – Ethnic Minority Villages


  • Departure to the beautiful waterfalls Khouang
  • Discover a beautiful nature and traditional houses made of bamboo, wood and palm leaves
  • The waterfall, nestled in the lush tropical vegetation, a beautiful clear pools for swimming
  • Continue on visiting minority villages such as H’mong village of Ban Thinkeo and Khmu village of Ban Thapaene
  • Visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong where traditional product also called Saa paper made from mulberry leaves

Day 8: Luang Prabang – Vientiane


  • Take a flight to Vientiane and stat exploring the city
  • Visit the mains attractions of the city: Vat Sisaket, the former royal chapel Phrakeo Ho, Large golden stupa of That Luang, the Temple Wat Si Muang
  • Relax in the monastery of Wat sokpaluang to assess, in a quiet steam bath and massage
  • Dinner with folk dance show

Day 9: Vientiane – Fly – Hanoi


  • Free time to stroll around the “Morning Market” (covered market) with lots of local crafts, jewelry gold and silver
  • Departure for flight to Hanoi
  • Met and welcomed by your guide upon arrival then transfer to hotel

Day 10: Hanoi – Arrival


  • Enjoy a traditional cyclo ride of exploration through the busy streets of the ‘Old Quarter’
  • Discover Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple
  • Enjoy a water-puppet show, a traditional and ancient art form, unique to Vietnam

Day 11: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Cruise and overnight on board


  • Depart for Ha Long Bay, with its 1969 islands, is set in beautiful turquoise waters and was recognized for its natural beauty by UNESCO in 1994, and classified as a World Heritage Site.
  • Start your cruise while enjoying lunch. Lunch is served from a delicious seafood menu while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay
  • Admire the beautiful landscapes. Visit the mysterious Canh Thien cave
  • Relax on the island beach and enjoy swimming and kayak for 1 hour
  • Dinner is served outdoors, (weather permitting), or in the indoor dining room

Day 12: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Hue


  • Cruise back to the port and take a private van to Hanoi
  • Enjoy sometime in the city before an overnight train to Hue

Day 13: Hue


  • Arrive early to Hue
  • Start the day with a visit to the Royal Tomb and Thien Mu Pagoda
  • Try some local Hue specialties such as banh khoai (Hue savoury pancakes) and banh bot loc (dumpling) and wash it all down with a Hue beer

Day 14: Hue – Hoi An


  • Start the day touring the wonderful ruins of the Imperial Citadel before heading towards Hoi An in the late morning
  • Cross the Hai Van Pass (weather permitting), with fantastic views in all directions
  • Arrive in Hoi An in the late afternoon

Day 15: Hoi An


  • Enjoy a delightful stroll around the ancient town, and discover the reason why UNESCO bestowed World Heritage rating on the town through 400 year old covered Japanese Bridge, temples, pagodas, museums and other architectural monuments
  • Visit a lantern factory you can make your own lantern

Day 16: Hoi An free at leisure


  • Free time to enjoy the beach or just stroll around the town
  • Overnight at a hotel in Hoi An

Day 17: Hoi An free and fly to Ho Chi Minh city


  • Drive to Da Nang for flight to Ho Chi Minh city
  • Once in the capital of South Vietnam and the country’s commercial centre
  • Start exploring the small alleys and busy streets keeping an eye ut for lacquer ware shops and delicious local food stalls

Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City


  • Guided tour to Cu Chi Tunnels, part of an unbelievably complex system of tunnels built by the Vietnamese resistance fighters which help their efforts to repel the Americans during the war
  • Return to the city in early afternoon and visit the FITO museum which houses a history of traditional Vietnamese medicine and treatments used by the people fir generations

Day 19: Mekong Delta Day Trip


  • Enjoy a boat cruise through the villages, islands, and markets of the Mekong Delta and visit traditional candy factories
  • After enjoying a day in the Mekong Delta, travel back to Ho Chi Minh city in time for an optional dinner

Day 20: Ho Chi Minh – Fly – Phnom Penh


  • Take a flight to Phnom Penh
  • Once arrive in Phnom Penh, enjoy a cyclo ride through the city for a street-level perspective

Day 21: Phnom Penh


  • Meet local guide to learn more about the dark side of Cambodian history
  • Visit Choeung EK, the site of the infamous Killing Fields
  • Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S21 Prison), the notorious Khmer Rouge prison where thousands of Cambodians perished
  • Explore the city’s sights: the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum.
  • Visit the Russian Market, Wat Phnom or sip a drink at a riverside café

Day 22: Phnom Penh – Fly – Siem Reap – Angkor Wat


  • Siem Reap - Angkor Thom - Ta Phrom - Angkor Wat
  • Explore the walled city of Angkor Thom, 10sq kms in size
  • Visit the South Gate, Bayon
  • See the fascinating Buddhist monastery of Ta Phrom, invaded by the jungle over many years
  • Visit the Baphuon with its splendid sculptures
  • Pass through the Terrace of the Elephants
  • See the Terrace of the Leper King with its beautiful carvings of gods, nagas, and dancers
  • Discover and explore Angkor Wat, built in the first half of the twelfth century, and dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu
  • Witness the sunset, from the top of the hill of Phnom Bakheng
  • Overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap, including breakfast

Day 23: Siem Reap - Rolous group - Banteay Srei - Banteay Samre


  • Visit the Roluos group, Hindu worship temples dating from the late 9th century
  • Explore the temple Preah Ko, erected by Indravarman in the late 9th century
  • See the temple Lolei, the twin to Preah Ko, and see its sandstone carvings
  • Visit the temple Bakong, the largest of the Rolous group
  • Discover the temple of Banteay Srei, a Hindu temple dating back to the 10th century
  • Visit the Banteay Samre temple, a Hindu temple dedicated in the 12th century to Vishnu Shiva
  • Overnight at a hotel in Siem Reap including breakfast
