Itinerary in details
Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Upon arrival Siem Reap, welcomed and transferred to check-in hotel, and then departure to visit
Angkor Wat and visit Sunset tours at Phnom Bakheng.
Welcome dinner with the
traditional Khmer dance.
O/N in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap - Angkor Temple excursion ( B/L )
Breakfast at hotel the same morning visit Angkor Thom South Gate, Bayon,
Baphoun, Elephant terrace, Basei Chamkrong, Leper King terrace, Royal
Enclosure. ect. Return to city for lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon,
visit Angkor Wat. Have dinner at local restaurant.
O/N in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Siem Reap - Angkor Temple ( B/L )
Breakfast at hotel. The same morning, visit the Phimean Akas, Neak Poan,
Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Phreah Khan. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit the Prasat Kravan Temple, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang, Takeo,
Ta Prohm.
O/N in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap | Phnom Penh ( B/L )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Pier boat PNH (take 5hours on Tonle Sap lake
by boat, upon arrival transfer to hotel, then departure to visit short city
tours, the Wat Phnom, Independence monument, National museum, walking along
road on bank Mekong River.
O/N in Phnom Penh.
Day 5: Phnom Penh - Chau Doc ( D )
Breakfast at hotel . Visit Royal Palace and Silver pagoda, transfer to the
boat pier for boarding to Chau Doc by Hang Chau Express boat or Victoria
Express Boat. Arrive Chau Doc around 13 : 00 am. Pick up and transfer to
your proposed hotel. Afternoon, visit the Sam Mountain with the caved
pagoda, enjoy the sunset down the Vietnamese - Cambodian border from the
summit of the mountain over the flat rice field. Welcome dinner.
O/N in Chau Doc.
Day 6: Chau Doc | Long Xuyen | Can Tho
Breakfast at hotel. Take the motorized boat trip to visit the floating fish
farm and the floating village, visit the local Cham minority village and her
traditional weaving village. Depart for Long Xuyen, visit the bird Sanctuary
in Thot Not and the incense stick making village.
Option 1: Stay in the hotel in
Can Tho
Check in upon arrival in Can Tho. Free for exploring the city on your own in
the afternoon. Overnight at your proposed hotel. ( You can also go to the
village, visit the local people, have dinner with them, enjoy the music and
back to city for overnight stay ).
Option 2: Homestay
Transfer to a small village around Cai Rang district by motorized boat.
Check in your cottage. Afternoon, cycling or trekking around the village to
experience the life style of the Mekong Delta people. Join the family for
cooking. Have dinner. Enjoy the folks music with your neighbors. Overnight
at the riverside cottages.
Day 7: Can Tho | Saigon (B, L)
After breakfast. Visitors first take the boat trip to explore the
picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river ( Bassac river ) . The
boat trip later takes you to the Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets,
which are the most original ones and bustling places of the region. Visitors
will have the most probably tried the Vietnamese vermicelli soup so, they
will now go and see how it is made. Visitors then roam into the village to
get in touch with the local people. Here, they have a chance to experience
how to pass a " Monkey bridge " which is built by only one bamboo. Return to
Can Tho for lunch at the local restaurant. Depart for Hochiminh city with
stop over at Vinh Long and My Tho town.
